Our mission is to build a community that empowers women living in New England who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer to live fully—primarily through an annual retreat.
Our Retreat
Attending a Turning the Tide Ovarian Cancer Retreat is a special experience for women who have received a frightening diagnosis. For a few days each year, a new community is formed among women from urban and rural areas across New England who have been successfully living with the diagnosis for many years, those who are currently struggling, and those with a new diagnosis. The women come together to share strategies, take supported risks, and have fun. This can inspire a sense of well-being and connection that makes a significant difference in the quality of life for women who may otherwise feel isolated and overwhelmed.
Our 2026 Turning the Tide Ovarian Cancer Retreat will take place June 14 - 18 at Medomak Retreat Center in Washington, Maine.
